At the beginning of April 2021, EFLA made its social media debut on our Instagram and Twitter platforms. Although social media marketing isn’t EFLA’s main mission, it is an important tool for sharing our work and knowledge with the greater community.

We decided to kick things off on April Fool’s Day, with a water joke campaign. We highlighted the lighter side of working in water – water nerds can be funny, too!

As the day went on, the jokes kept flooding our inboxes…

Bartender brings back two glasses of clear liquid, and they drink up. Unfortunately, the second guy dies… @nmcommunitygeog
