The arrows represent a form of power and life-giving abilities. Allowing chlorine into the water gives it power as much as the rainbird design inside the droplet does for our Native belief systems. The rainbird is a figure recognized among the Pueblos as a protector and messenger for water makers. As you see, even when adding chlorine the rainbird remains, not taking away the power in which Native communities give water. The bottom design is a design for flowing water and that it brings more to our fields and our wells.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_button button_url=”https:\/\/efla.unm.edu\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/sacred-water.jpg” url_new_window=”on” button_text=”View Full Screen” button_alignment=”center” _builder_version=”4.17.3″ _module_preset=”default” custom_button=”on” button_text_color=”#000000″ hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″][\/et_pb_button][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]\n","protected":false},"featured_media":6095,"template":"","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"on","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"_uf_show_specific_survey":0,"_uf_disable_surveys":false},"resource_category":[57],"resource_focus":[58,41],"class_list":["post-6093","learning_academy","type-learning_academy","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","resource_category-visualization","resource_focus-art","resource_focus-dri"],"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/efla.unm.edu\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/learning_academy\/6093","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/efla.unm.edu\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/learning_academy"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/efla.unm.edu\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/learning_academy"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/efla.unm.edu\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/6095"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/efla.unm.edu\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=6093"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"resource_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/efla.unm.edu\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/resource_category?post=6093"},{"taxonomy":"resource_focus","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/efla.unm.edu\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/resource_focus?post=6093"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
